What did you have planned for your day off tomorrow?
That sounds relaxing. But you've never struck me as someone who likes to go shopping for fun.
[He knows he's being nosy but he knows that there are normal couple experiences that it's unlikely that they'll be able to do like just go shopping together or dinner out. Rufus is bound by his position and past even though things had changed. He would live through Rude a little and share in these things in one of the few ways he could.]
[Rufus settles down again, not letting himself dwell on it further. He's exhausted from a long evening, his head is throbs but in Rude's arms he feels sleep creeping up on him.]
[Rufus tightens his arm a little more around Rude, yawning. Perhaps some day they could actually live together- retirement was becoming more tempting every day.]
[The only response from Rufus is soft muffled snoring as he falls asleep with his face tucked against Rude's chest.
It was rare that he was able to fall asleep so easily and stay asleep but whenever Rude stayed the night with him sleep came easier to him so he was sound asleep for once.]
