No one stops him on his way to his rooms, Dark Nation is sent to her bed where she settles down without protest when he gets there. It's quiet despite it being the middle of the day and he kicks his shoes off before laying out on the bed to give himself a chance to gather his thoughts.
Normally his room was his sanctuary away from everything, away from his father, the scheming, the board room politics, but he had invited Tseng here anyway, had let him in so openly. He shouldn't trust Tseng so much but he's found himself wanting to despite that.
He glances at the clock, watching the minutes tick by as he waits.]
